  10. These are the reset and interrupt switches.  A switch located near these two switches locks and unlocks them to prevent the computer from an accidental reset.

  12. ‚Ä¢ INTERRUPT

  14. 1) If MacsBug is installed, pressing this switch will drop you into MacsBug.  
  15. 2) If MacsBug is not installed, you will get a window and an > in the window. Press G and then RETURN to return to your application.  In most cases everything will be ok after you press return. To be safe, save; save all files and restart the computer.

  17. ‚Ä¢ RESET

  19. Pressing the reset switch will cause the machine to restart.  You will loose memory contents when this switch is pressed.

  21. ‚Ä¢ BOTH

  23. Pressing both keys simultaneously will reset the Macintosh Portable and put the unit into sleep mode. This will cause the user to lose anything in memory that was not saved.
